Re: Patio's projects

Jack if you would like, I could print you a set and mail them out to you. The cost of printed parts are really small, once one has it all worked out. To give you an idea of cost and time to print: The paddle cost $.44/2.02hrs. the plate is $.63/1.31hrs, and the bumper is $.01/4 minutes. Once a print...

Re: Patio's projects

Russ, those are the switches I used to design the one I made. Those all require power to operate, as they are "magnetic". They are designed to not restart the saw, after a power failure. I only need some thing that will connect two wires together that are low voltage and the restart proble...

Re: Patio's projects

Hello everyone, it has been a minute, but here I am. :) I have been spending most of my time trying to get things together so I can move things from one space to another space so I can make some space to be able to make some things. ;) One of the space saving projects is to get a table saw together,...

Re: Mill VFD wiring ?

The thing to remember about wiring of anything is, the wire must be protected upstream of it's self. So, even if one bought a very large VFD, but only needed to use part of it's capacity, one could fuse the wire to a lower level than the total demand the VFD is capable of, but large enough for amper...

Re: Creating my own motorcycle scratch

I am impressed.
Most people would build a motor, or a frame, or a girder front end, with triple trees, but not everything. :)

Re: Patio's projects

Well we will see if this passes Harold's review. This picture is of the Yukon river, on the north side, Hwy 11 (Dalton Highway). 20220727_114351a.jpg I was raised in Fairbanks from the age of 2 until the beginning of high school. When I was about 8 years of age, I made a trip the the Yukon river at ...

Re: Patio's projects

Just as a quick update, I am still kicking! :) I did make it to Alaska, the Artic Circle, peed in the Yukon river, and visited the 577 Locomotive. I have pics and video of all of it, just haven't spent any time messing with it, to post here. I am off to Hawaii, on a One-way ticket, cause I don't kno...

Re: Patio's projects

Hello everyone. I am still alive and kicking, but almost didn't make it. At the beginning of the year, we decided to replace most of the floors in the house. We have been meaning to do it for some time now. I can tell you floors, means more than floors. We ended up painting most of the walls, I buil...
