IIRC its what comes in close to a #55 or 56 drill bit is what you want. That will put you in the ball park pretty darn close.
The monster burner (Rupert Wenig designed) is a great burner, cheap to make and does the job.

Drilling glass is a piece of cake. All those methods of using brass tube and valve grinding compounds etc etc are from old days before they had what they have so readily available today. Yes they may work but no where near a s good as a diamond coated hole saw, or diamond burrs or even a diamond tip...

As others stated. Its a hit or miss affair with China made stuff, no matter what name is on the item. I bought a lathe (Jet) and it was a POS right out of the crate.....I have some china made stuff which is very good and does the job. I have other china made things which are not worth carry8ing to t...

I run my flycutters (when I use em) at max spindle speed and get beautiful finishes. However I took advantage of a set of door knob cutters one time that was offered, that take a round insert, and they have got to b e one of the lsickest tools for making a smooth finish there is for use in a mill. I...

Ya know, they never ever put the original bottle back on to double check. No way to find out now since it was exchanged for another already.....we were just happy to get it working again, and it was not until the ride back home with a working TIG machine and new cylinder of 100% argon that we starte...

FIXED....but I still do not buy it
We carried the machine to a repair facility today. They took a quick look at it and first thing they did was swap out the cylinder of Argon. We stated we swapped a cylinder and it made no difference...but low and behold the machine worked like a champ. Heck we even managed ot have all the controls s...

Well I give up....I know I have gas flow, as its easy to feel it flowing out the torch. I switched cylinders of it just to eliminate bad gas, tried new tungsten electrode.....Green color code as well as 2 % toriated.....used a ultra clean piece of plain aluminum, cleaned ground clamp, pulled cover o...

I did clean the weld area very well., I used a brand new wire wheel on a high speed die grinder followed up with hand wire brushing with a platers brush (brand new)....both brushes are stainless steel bristles. I also pulled one of the 4043 rods as well as a 50 something or other rod back and forth ...

HELP ....desperately needed. Miller 250 Syncrowave
Machine is a like new hardly used Miller 250 SW which was bought 10 years ago this month. It has had less than 3 small 80 cuft tanbks of inerting gas through it. It welds fine with stick, but when it comes to TIG process the arc seems to wander around and then it gets all sooty, and black and then j...

Help me decide what motor to buy
Itsnot really metal working per se but I do have to make a mount etc for it all. I have a propeller pump that I need to power up. I am at a bit of a loss as to go with a 115/120 vac motor or go with a 220 volt motor. Is one any more efficient than the other. The way I look at it is it takes a given ...
