Dan - the track looks great. Having spend much of my youth digging roadbeds and laying track I know what a job it is - you're clearly doing a superb job. also the real key to my success is two things, number one I had a really good teacher who is our 1.5 track committee chairman. he took the time and showed me how to do track work properly. and two, having the right music to listen to when im out there working to pump up my drive to work and work har...

At Mid-South we started using the pre-molded plastic ties about 7 or 8 years ago, not too long after we found out about them. thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words and comments. I tell people, I cannot build a locomotive. but I can replace railroad ties. it will be awesome when it's all done. more to come.

question regarding your pressure gauges. from a practical standpoint. are they the same size diameter as a loco parts pressure gauge? my father has a loco parts gauge on our Hudson. but it's not showing accurate on the needle.
