Sounds like you talking about the knee lift shaft assembly parts,which are parallel to the floor. I have an 8540 horizontal mill, which is similar. I'd probably start by considering how I'd want my wife or family to be treated in a similar situation after my passing. If it was George W. Bush's garage sale (or Rod Blagojevich's), I'd have a different attitude.
