thanks I'll check the auto lead -

the fractions refer to the inscribed circle.
That is the largest circle that can be drawn inside a triangle.

thanks for the input - I have been to all those sites and more - no good I need 1/4" inserts - IC = .206" ANSI 1.5 for size 3/16" Fractional need only TPUH 1.5 * * or TPUH 6 * * (6/32 for less than 1/4" but how do they tell?) also need TPG a little smaller for a 12" boring b...

carbide inserts

I have some 1/4" carbide tools from Harbor Freight -

does anyone know how or where to get replacement
inserts?

I looked through Enco's stuff and couldn't find anything smaller than 3/8".

Pat - the site with your photos does not allow linking to them -

all others - you can see the photos by openening a second browser window the right clicking the red X , click properties and copy the url and past into the address line of the second window.
