Re: Miller 330 A/BP Tig welder hand/ finger controller
I think that the 4 wires for this machine my be the same set up as other that I have had. The 4 wires from the peddle to the machine are for only amp control, and out of that 4 3 are for the amp control and the last one is for the ground. Most amptrols are wired the same red,white,black and ground b...

Re: Tig Pedal Question
I had the same problem years ago, I raised up the pedal by mounting it to a swivel base at the bottom of my stool. This allows the cable to be below the pedal action.

Re: Book to learn tig welding?
Good morning;
Cope i thought that a guy named Finch wrote a pretty good book that explained in easy detail about all aspects of welding.
The book itself was a real easy read, and really explained and ansewered a lot of questions about tig.

Here is a pic of my 175 on a cart that I build for pipe gallery work.
The carts have to be narrow to get into position, and I like to carry everything on them.

Re: welding helments
I dont know guys, but I am from the old school and these new helmets that change remind me of being in the twilight zone. They change quick but I still cannot use them. The last time I tried my nephews I went nuts with the thing, and he has a speedglass. I will just have to keep my Fibersteel wide g...
Re: Tig Cart
Nice job on the cart Marty, I like the hooks on the sides on mine I used round stock and added large balbearing to the tops of the hooks to give it a little look. The cooler looks great, real nice. I always seem to have problems with the swivel wheels, on some carts I place the swivels on the back s...

The cart is one from another machine that I scrapped a few tears back, I will have to refit it for this machine. Thanks for the chart, I will try out some of those settings and give it a run later today. Than...

Re: Homework!
You guys were right, it is PowCon and like you said it has a red plastic fiberglass case. The machine is 200 amps, and has a 60% duty cycle. Also in the sale I got the wire feeder assembly that set on top of the machine. The machine needed a new gun and liner which I had from another machine, funny ...
