I prefer a keyed older (made in USA) Jacobs chuck. But..that's just me.

The interesting thing with Grizzly is in their product descriptions. I never could figure out how many thousandths is in one "exceptional."

I would have thought the link belt would cause MORE vibrations.

Two 1/8 or 3/16 roll pins would have worked fine. Plenty of strength. There are a lot of different ways to skin this cat.

I agree about the Jacobs chucks..at least the older units. The new Jacobs chucks are now made in CHINA and the quality is nowhere near as good. Typical Chinese lack of quality. If the chuck has the numbers and name acid etched on it the chuck is made in China. This was told to me when I called Jacob...
