the lead screw shaft is smooth, no key. You actually have to drill a hole through the hub and put a pin in it. Very Manky

They are definitely sintered and crappy! Getting this thing put back together is the definition of frustrating

Gears for CB 1220 XL

So, I went to cut some 1/4 x 20TPI threads today, and guess what, missing the 30 tooth gear. Anyone know how available that will be? Also, "E" gear, is that a 27 tooth gear? Thanks of the help!

Did a little shop organizing and made a simple mod to the lathe. I got tired of, whenever I had to open the back cover to change gears or engage the feed, having to remove long stock to do it. So cut a slot in the cover so I wouldn't have to anymore. Need to clean it up with a grinder yet, but the f...

It's an AXA, Ed. Thanks for the advice on the collets. I was going to go MT3 because it's easy way out :). Care to post any pics of your mill set up with the collets, especially the ones you made :)
