The door gears must engage perfectly at all times. Make sure the doors are lined up horizontally and vertically so they do not close at an angle.
And again, make sure you put steel bushings in the door castings. The brass will wear letting the gears to not mesh and lock up.

I am sold. I ordered some Clecos and plyers. I like the look of cooper rivet head; the aluminum rivets have a slightly larger and flatter head. I've got a big riveting project coming up and I have a few questions I would like to ask. Are Clecos worth having and are they easy to use? I am riveting Aluminum sheet material.
