Re: Bad Vender Service Titan Trains

I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I bought the ready to ship CB&Q Caboose. Got here in a week. Then I ordered a gondola special and it took a couple months but ok.... Got it. Then while waiting for the gondola I ordered a tank car. Then they stopped doing the specials on Friday. I said how ab...

Re: New member

Anyone have photos of the brake rigging on the tender? The brakes on Warren's Mogul are backwards. When one truck is set the other is released and vice versa.

Re: 2017 Florida Winter Meet Dates

February 18-19th will be Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroads public run. Anyone can come out and run their train, you don't have to carry passengers if you don't want to. Just come out and have fun. We aren't the biggest of tracks but we are the southern most track in the United States and we have had f...

Re: New member

I'm sorry Marty, I should have specified. The tender brakes are the ones that are off. One truck is applied while the other is released and then when you release the one the other is applied. I'm thinking its the wrong pivot point.

Re: New member

We own Warren's Mogul. The brake rigging is slightly off. When you apply the brakes one brake sets while the other releases. Then when you release the brakes they switch and one is set and other is released. Could you please email brake rigging photos to mike@livesteamers.org Any help would be great...

Re: FOR SALE- Scale Allen Mogul 7 1/2 gauge with tender---SOLD---

Bobby, and Bobby Timson, we thank you again for such a beautiful locomotive. She travelled well on her way across the state. Tender light has been relocated for an engineers seat and it just needs paint and brakes adjusted. Pilot is under construction and axle pump is in the works. Hoping for New Ye...

Passing of Jon Hollahan

It is with great sadness that we have lost a Tradewinds & Atlantic Railroad (TARR) family member. I have to announce the passing of our club president Jon Hollahan. As a club we have kept this private with his absence from work days and run days. Sunday night Jon passed peacefully in his sleep and l...

Re: Club location

We have been located in a county park for the last 25 years. We don't pay rent and give rides to the public on the 3rd weekend of the month. The county and park manager loves having us there as its $1.50 per person to get in the park on weekends. The park is usually empty otherwise. Michael Smith Pr...

Re: Florida Winter meets

This is what I found. If anyone is interested in coming out to Tradewinds & Atlantic, please contact me at mike@livesteamers.org I can give you the address to the back gate instead of the hassle of coming through the front. We might be small but we know how to have fun at the track. 20-21 are our pu...

Re: Florida Live Steamers Winter Meets 2013

Having only been in this hobby and coming from G scale (and still have all my G scale) a couple years. I can agree with everything posted about the Buckingham Central. I was invited over by friends of the Tradewinds & Atlantic for the day and we had a great time there. Arrived and were greated nicel...
