Re: Gatling Gun

Hit another rock! You have 10 barrels/bolts, that you have to set head space on. To get it right you have to get the barrel to bolt set +/- about .0005". I have the go/no-go gauges, but get my skills, to the point, to cut the bolts/barrels, right, is lacking! The rest of the parts, work well! G...

Re: Anzani Y aero engine

The magazine "Stricty I. C." , Issues 81, 82, 83, & 84, had the plans to make a 1/4 scale, Anzani, 3 cylinder engine. You use to be able to buy, them, but don't know, if you still can.

Re: R F Hasbrouck Engine no. 5

Forgot deetails about engine. It is 14" tall 10" wide and 14" long. Two cylinder, 2" bore, and 2.5" stroke.
Plans showed a knob to turn, to change direction of engine, but write up showed a lever, to do this. Engine has lever, now.

I made hit miss engine, from caastings for years, but ran out of kits, I wanted to build, so trying a gatling gun. Update of how it is going: The carrier block, for the bolts has .420" holes, whick required buying odd size tooling. If you go to 27/64", only .002" bigger you could use ...

Re: How to chamber a 22 barrel

The head space is based on where the rim is, as the bolt most close, but doing the machining to get the gap betwee the bolt, and the barrel, ( Head space) is what I am looking for help on. Looks like the gap has to be in a +/- .001" range, based on the head space gauge. True it has to be done t...

Re: How to chamber a 22 barrel

After looking at the Gatling gun plans, I am going to try to build one. Have a new question. Looking at the go-no go gauge, there is only about .002" between the two. This mean the head space between the bolt, and barrel has to be set very close. Any one have a good way to do this 10 times? solek
