Re: Riverside Live Steamers Fall Meet
I've been out of the live steam loop for the past several months due to my Father's battle with, and subsequent loss to, cancer, so to be able to attend the Fall Meet at Riverside Live Steamers and focus on playing trains was a nice break. I'm happy to say that my locomotive and train ran for ten ho...

Re: Turbulators
I tried them on my Pacific before I realized it was a nozzle issue. Once I replaced the nozzle these were no longer needed.

Turbulators
34" long x .500 x .060, copper. One of them, fourth from the left, has an over twist and needs to be twisted back some.
$75 plus $15 shipping. Or a reasonably fair offer if and when they've been listed a few days.
PM is fine. Thanks

Re: Riverside Live Steamers Spring Meet
Perfect 70 degrees today. Yours truly was the OS and got things going at 6am. 12 locos out today. Tomorrow will be crazy and I'm going to guess we will more than double that 12. I see BigBoys, Challengers, Northerns, Mikados, Pacifics, and a host of others. For those making the trek we look forward ...

Re: Trying To Identify this Marker Lamp????
Here you go, direct from the source!
"SP" did run Gallery commute cars but no cab cars as they were always "pulled". The gallery gars did use the old ADLAKE markers then the change to the single "PYLE". Be in touch, Bo Retired "SP" Conductor.

Re: Trying To Identify this Marker Lamp????
Newsflash: The SP Gallery commuter trains were not ran in push-pull configurations, only the later "CalTrain" cars had cab controls. Those trains were only slightly more glamorous than say BART or MetroLink trains so finding pictures might be a challenge.

Re: Trying To Identify this Marker Lamp????
Entirely plausible. SP ran their commuter trains up in your neck of the woods using the "Gallery" cars. While I've never seen one with the marker lamps, it would make sense considering the type of train and its purpose. I believe CalTrain took these over in the 80's, maybe earlier, so look...
