the only thing I see out of place is the one wire that is striped at the end, which was hanging out of the motor for wiring, and the one spot of solder where it looks like the wire was cut at some point. I don't understand it being 110 aND only having 1 lead to hook up for power?

ok I see where a wire was solderd on at one time, just not sure which one, here are a couple more better pictures.

small electric motor help. very old motor.
hey fellas, I posted on here along time ago trying to get alittle motor fixed of mine for a belt sander. my stepfather brought me this little motor today that I think will work. but it only has one lead coming out of the windings.? it says 110. I don't quite understand. any help would be awesome!

yeah I don't see why you couldn't just do that? maby even use a piece of bandsaw tire for traction!

I really enjoy this one I got at a auction. shop going out of business. you can actually use it on the lathe as well to clean shafts. the spring allows it to contour to the shape of the piece being sanded. its completely shop made. I think I gave 10.00 for it and a Sheffield shadow graph.

I would say about 75lbs without battery, 6volt battery I believe is what they take. they are pretty awesome. haven't tried one out yet though

yeah Ken, I don't think I could get rid of it! I could make a nice profit off of it, but I don't think I could bring myself to sell it, actually think I have a buyer for the Rong Fu mill though! wahoo!
