Re: VFD setup
Never install a switch between the motor and the VFD, it will blow the VFD if you try to do that.
There is a pram that will allow you to reverse motor, also a time sitting for motor ramp up speed and stop speed (braking)

Re: Can a delta-delta transformer be backfed
I have done that many times. The transformer can be hooked up low to high and high to low voltage. It will work just fine that way. You may need to adjust the out put voltage with the taps if it is not right.

Re: mosely regulator adjustment
As I recall, you would low the pressure by turning the regulator CCW to slow the speed down. Start by testing as you watch the voltage, if it is going down then you going the right way.

Re: Electronic Leadscrews?
I sent a request about getting a unit that would cut in inches. This is their reply. Hello, unfortunately, the ELS can only work in metric units, as Inches would take up too much room and would also be not precise enough. The common used 0,001 inch is only 0.0254 mm. The ELS now works with 0.001mm p...

Re: 15" Leblond lathe servo shift repair?
Most Leblond servo shift have a mercury switch on the motor shaft that will make (close) when the motor stops turning so unit knows it is safe to begin the shift operation. They lose some of the mercury over the years and don't make contact any longer. You can't buy that switch now and the replaceme...
