Re: Grinding wheel hole enlargement ?

So dressing the OD with a diamond will cause the wheel to explode as well? Of course not, but you can't argue with Elves (Elfin Safety), they also insist that tool racks behind lathes are dangerous, without understanding that the danger there is created by someone stupid enough to reach past rotati...

Re: Scale weight

I didn't mention Coefficients as I'm aware that they are physical constants but frictional force between materials is affected by contact area as well as weight, I wondered if it scaled making scale weight adequate for scale traction in a scale engine, the answer is yes or no though, indicating you ...

Re: Scale weight

Do friction and traction scale down with size and weight?
Is weight greater than scale required for models to generate optimum traction?

Thanks! I didn't think about a corner radius bit. Way to go. On the other hand, that bit costs $91, so no go.
Router bits work well on Aluminium

I can't see it as most of the way to CNC, though.
You're buying and fitting steppers, drivers, PSU, shaft encoders and a controller................

I sent a request about getting a unit that would cut in inches.
1" = 25.4mm
Armed with this revolutionary information, and possibly a calculator, you can cut imperial threads on a metric system which allows dimensions set in .001mm increments

Re: How do I make this?

I'd make a tool steel broach for the small slot, mill the slot to width and broach the round ends square in the press.

Re: Sensitive Drilling Attachment

I have a bad case of "Sausage Fingers" but down to 0.5mm/20Thou have not needed a sensitive drilling attachment for lathe, mill or pillar drill.
