Re: Choosing the right drawing
Hi, Jerry Well, then, there's a question you need to answer. I need a bracket (Reverse Shaft Bearing LP Engine Baker Valve Gear). There are two drawings: http://www.nwhs.org/archivesdb/detail.php?ID=55951 and http://www.nwhs.org/archivesdb/detail.php?ID=53066 http://www.nwhs.org/archivesdb/detail.ph...

Re: Choosing the right drawing
Hi, Richard The main problem is the lack of specification. The specification is the main drawing document. Unfortunately, this document does not exist. I would also guess that where the word "Style" is used, there likely was more than one version used concurrently, either because it was re...

Choosing the right drawing
I am building a 3D model of the Y3a locomotive. Suddenly, I was faced with the difficulty of choosing the right drawing. This is slowing down creating a model. In the NWHS archive there are drawings marked “STYLE”. However, until now no one could clearly answer me, what does this mean? Are these var...

Westinghouse Type B Brake Cylinder
Hi All,
I'm looking for information (drawings) about brake cylinder 21-B 14 x 10 inch.
I have a question for the experts. What "21"?
Best regards,
Eugen

Re: 15” ga live steam club feasibility
Eric Thompson who built the 15" track in the Oakland, CA area started with 12" gauge. Anyone wanting to compare the two gauges should track down an article he wrote in Live Steam about 40 years ago giving his rationale for the change. I find that very interesting. And if briefly? What are...

Re: 12" Guage Wheel Standard
It is imperative to develop a standard for a 12 "gauge! For future builders. How quickly can this be done?
For the European region, I would make the standard for the gauge of 10 1/4 ".

Re: 12" Guage Wheel Standard
It's bad that there is no standard for a track of 12 ". Which rail is used for the 12 "gauge?
