Not to hijack this thread but what manufacturer tube roller is best to roll copper in a steel boiler. I am going to need one and request recommendations.

Mike I am interested in the 1/2 Hudson Northern book. I have a complete set of castings partially machined by Little Engines. The book I have is for the 3/4 scale engines. If you decide to reprint the 1/2 scale books I will purchase a copy.

Is there a supplier for a locomotive brake valve. I plan to use steam to apply the brakes.

I have a 2 1/2 LE Hudson that is partially complete. Many parts sill in Little Engines boxes.plan to complete one day, but time and too many projects may not get to it. It appears that some of the parts were machined by LE did they sell machined kits?

I was there for first run of this locomotive, Walt waited years for this engine to be built and shipped from Australia. It was perfect, and ran reliably every time I saw it. Walt wanted a engine that you sat in not on.

Do you know of where the patterns went, or any projects that need to be completed?

A number of years ago there was a individual who produced castings and boilers for a Case 65 I believe his name was Terning. Is this business still going? If not is there any other company’s doing this type of project?
