Hi people, If my memory serves me right, it is either English or Americans who say: as easy as 1 2 3....which points to a metric idea rather, otherwise they might say as 1/64 1/32 1/16 1/4 then add and convert to a number that can be used in setting your lathe or mill. Try giving the above fractions...

You can probably see mine at s200/photobucket/papandropoulos.

my perhaps naive question regarding the spring loaded valves is that while compressing the spring energy is needed but when the spring is returning the energy is given back, or am I terribly wrong?

to my opinion the only difference, regardless of how many decimlals the digital has, is not accuracy but readability of the result, particularly now that I am 74....

hi cz,
you may know it already but if not, please note that nickel salts used are positively carcinogenous. use with proper care of both inhaling (it works around 80 deg. celsius) and proper disposal of the bath.
