I think this is one of the problems with rescue animals and puppy mill operations you can never be sure of the health problems. I for one have to commend you for being responsible and stepping up to your commitment.

Re: ATTN: HAROLD - you need this!
there were a few different models of the 40 crawler MC40, 40C, 420C, and 430C. I actually have 2 of the 40C machines one a part machine and the other running but needs a little TLC and the right steering clutches need adjustment or replacing most likely replacing. I used it for primarily snow remova...

Welding on a pickup frame
I am not a welder but have a Lincoln tombstone stick welder. I have a project facing me to mount a HF pickup crane to my F150. I want/need to mount it to the frame as cose to the tail gate as possible but all the stuff i.e. spare tire under carriage rack and towing brackets make it kind of awkward s...

Re: Live and learn
First I have to thank all of you for helping me.Well I'm feeling a little more foolish. Yesterday I saw that LMS had clamping kits for the G0758 so I called and talked to Chris their resident expert he pretty much guarantied that they would fit, but they are on back order.I didn't trust my caliper m...

Re: Live and learn
this is where I have a catch 22 . I have no vise to hold the t-nuts if I get a vise I don't have a way to hold it down. I suppose I could buy a couple T-nuts and studs and carefully grind them down on the bench grinder to use long enough to mill a few factory nuts to size or is this not a good idea?

Live and learn
Well I pulled a newbe bone headed buy the other day I wanted to start tooling up my G0758 mill/drill. The first two items on my list were an R8 collet set and clamping set. I was all set to cut a fat hog in the *** using a 20% discount plus a sale price on both items for about a 40% savings from Enc...

Re: G0758 has arrived
I definitely see a trend here and on a different forum collets vs holders, so collets it is. I plan on getting my feet wet with smaller projects that don't require as much tooling for instance I have a QCTP(A2Z) for my 7X14 lathe and plan on making some tool holders which look pretty straight forwar...

Re: G0758 has arrived
ok this is what I wanted. I'll look into collet sets. The spec's are for a maximum 5/8 for end milling and 2" for face milling now I'm assuming that 2" would be the largest fly cutter too? I am also assuming that the shank diameter wouldn't matter as long as the cutting diameter wouldn't b...
