Thanks for the input! So, measured my setup. Almost exactly 6" from the mounting table to the lathe CL. The table is 6" wide(X) and 8" deep(Y). My Photobucket is now active again, so pics should be back. See pages 3 and 4 of this thread for pics of the machine if there is doubt on how...

Yup, I did use PB, and had done for years, assuming that they would be stable and honest with their service... but they SUCK, and deserve to suffer a painful Corporate death. However... anyone using Chrome or Firefox can easily download a "Plugin" that bypasses the PB block so you can see ...

LOL, looks good doesn't it!
Wiped the whole body down with Acetone, masked it, and spray painted it with Rustoleum silver metallic.
Column, chuck and plate were soaked with WD40 and rubbed clean with a red scotch pad.
Simple stuff!
