The Home Machinist!

I would like to know where every one is storing there LP tanks when the are not at the track? I have a stock car with two 20lb. horizontal aluminum tanks.

My value is mounted in my tender. I used 2 values. The lower one is used as the control of a pilot light so I can keep my burner on. The upper value is my main control. I have a flex hose that connects my tender to the loco.

Isn't the blower just blowing air down the stack and not pulling air up the stack to make a draft?

I have it fixed. I used graphite twine on the large packing nuts. No more leaks.

My Duplex Feed Water Pump is leaking steam from the top pistons. What do I use to pack the nuts that hold the piston in? There is a nut on the top and bottom. Thanks, Ken
