Red sunrise here in west central Minnesota the last few days, weatherman says it's caused by fires in Canada, I don't know if it's the BC fires or others. Between those fires, the one in L.A. , Harvey, and now the coming of Irma, I'm glad to be living where I do.

There has to be a special place in heaven for those that will dumpster dive in a deluge for the sake of posterity. Kudos to you friend. My wife saw my post and said "you forgot the Cub, the Pony, and the Massey 44 diesel" I had no idea she was paying that close of attention.

You are correct BClemens, and it's a sad situation which is preventable. All safety aspects of welding are pretty much common sense, if it's exposed, cover it up.

The part of the trade that isn't so obvious is fumes, but that's a whole "nuther" issue.
