BTW, to move this back to the original topic, the brothers have located copies of the relevant Model Engineer issues in the UK. I will post more when they are received. Also to add to the mystery, this is from a 1938 Ladies Home Journal: The engines — Mr. Astor keeps a stable of them — were designed...
