Charles, LOL! I love it!! "Calculate it with a 10-digit calculator, measure it with a tailor's cloth tape, mark it with chalk, and cut it with a torch!" And Bill puts the cherry on top! LOL! As to the "True Dimension" The Guy who normally gives the "Test" is a Metrology...

Re: B & S Model #200 Information
Bill, Harold_V, I belong to an Old Iron Machines Restoration group. When we get together sometimes we have a contest. An item is put on the table and throughout the day everyone has a chance to measure it with the Mics and Calipers provided. The person closest to true gets the door prize. I find it ...

Re: B & S Model #200 Information
Thanks RONALD. I will poke around there. So Hexagon owns Tessa I gather. I know the Tessa website is in Swiss and I can't seem to get it to translate.
I will most likely have to contact them as the site is their corporation's capabilities. Cross your fingers!
Thanks Again, Ken

Hi Bill, I have been running into the same problem. No info anywhere! Yes, mechanical Digital Mic is correct. No batteries or buttons, old school digital lol. I will have to check Starrett and see if it is close. I am not very computer savvy or I would try to post a picture. Hi NP317, No my Friend i...

Re: B & S Model #200 Information
Hi Bill. Sorry I wasn't more specific. Did you try to look it up? If you Google it you find Tessa (a Swiss Metrology Company) that bought out Brown and Sharpe (an American Metrology Company on par with Starrett) Model #200 is a Digi-Mike type micrometer with little windows indicating the reading. Ho...
