It measures the diameter it will cut, just figure in half the diameter of the bar.

You could also just raise the table up slowly with the quill locked, if You have the capability.

Old timers told Me that sulfur was healing for hands. It did not come from the Internet so I don't know if it is true. :wink:

Can You move the slot so the screws are in the middle of the slot? You would have room for a long, thin set of Vise grips to twist on the screw.
