Re: 1867 Otto Langen IC engine

Thanks Jack. I'll try to follow up.
I don't think there will be any copyright issues with the plans to the 1/16 scale model.

Re: 1867 Otto Langen IC engine

Len.. I still have the Parametric Model plans that were based on Mr Lenaz original plans. I have generated a totally new set of 3D plans using Inventor Parametric modeling software. :) Great solution!!!! I particularly like the way you are cutting the Mortises. I have always wanted to build an accurate scale field gun... but the carriage wheels have scared me off. You seem to have an elegant solution. Hope you will continue to share your progress. I'm also interested in how you...

There was a toy back in the '50s that shot a ball of air across the room...same principle. I have wanted to make one for the grand kids. It was taken off the market cuz some kid injured another kid's ear drum. Here is one on ebay... $43 shipping is a little high. http://cgi.ebay.com/1963-WHAM-O-AIR-...

I appreciate the above input... particularly Jim Glass's example. My real reason is asking this question is that I have some CNC projects that I would like to share/sell to the home shop CNC community. I am fortunate to have access to Parametric modeling software (Inventor and SolidWorks)... so I ca...

I have been told that .dxf files can be imported into most CAM products and converted directly to G-Code without having to redraw your part in the CAM software. Wha...
