The couplers are Yankee Shop, designed by Lester Friend about 1949.

1" scale VanBrocklin (Power Model Supply) duplex patterns and original drawings are at FRIENDS MODELS. Drawings and castings, materials, available.

FRIENDS also has the 1" scale duplex VB pump with the outside levers, that was formerly sold by Allen Models.
