Working with a SB 7 now but used to have a Sheldon 12 inch. Sure wish I more shop room where I could have kept that machine.

Was a fellow on ebay that did the cross hairs using kevlar thread. Sent him my block off my Programmer and he did them. Very happy with the work he did but can't find his name right now.

I'm going to date myself, but in the early 60s, Hudson Valley CC had a machine shop and courses. Couldn't tell you if it's still in operation. Saratoga Boces has the night course but I believe it is taught in Hudson Falls, a long drive for you.

I have a SB 7 and sold a Sheldon 12. Still kicking myself over that but I needed the space. If you have the choice, the Sheldon is a much better machine capable of doing much more than the SB.
