Re: Lots of questions on 7 1/2" gauge railroad

Dash9, There are any number of solid guys at PLS, among them: Pat Murphy Eric Peffel Ron Shupard Dave Sclavi John Geib Bruce Saylor Some may immediately start talking you into getting a steam engine, but other than that, there are really some good guys there. Don't let one bad experience run you off...

Re: Ulin Locomotive Works

I spoke with Rich about this a few years ago and he had been running into this issue with the foundries around Longmont and Greely that serve the sugar beet industry. It was nothing new to him at the time and he had already stopped marketing his really nice 1.6" cross compound air compressor as...

Re: Dave Gumz' 4-6-0 4-3/4" Narrow Gauge

I know a young man in the Denver area who thinks he has a boiler and smokbox that might have been built for a T-12 but got nothing else from the seller. Does anyone know of any sets of castings floating around? Have Warren and Gail ever r...

Dick,

You are helping make some really special, hopefully permanent, memories for Hunter and his sister. Way to go! Can't wait to see Hunter running your A5 pulling your ballast car, too!

Re: Mystery Cab Forward at GGLS...

All, Andy's H-8 is still at the C&O Railway Heritage Center in Clifton Forge, VA. However, I do not believe their agreement with the owner allows for it to be operated. It is a gorgeous engine and I hope to get to see it in person one day myself. They also have in their collection a very fine 1....
