Gibbs in cross slide and compound tight?

Small diameter stock + large tool = plenty of spring!

I made an adapter so I can use a 1/8" tool if need be. Looks cute in a BXA holder on a 14X40!

I ordered the 13X40,which he discounted, but shipment from China was late so he gave me the 14X40 at the same price! (DRO installed)
I had good luck with Fed-Ex freight, it arrived w/o damage, a good driver, etc.

In the mid 50"s I helped my granddad break up some boulders with dynamite.

Star drill a hole, insert a piece with cap and fuse, tamp mud in, lit fuse, scamper off, watch the show!

Bought at local hardware store, no questions asked. :shock:
