Are you sure the thread is 5 tpi and not 4 1/2 ?
BTW you can buy an 1 1/4-12 nut and weld it to a steel disk to make your own backing plate.

For the injector make any bends with a tubing bender, try not to use fittings. The less restrictions the better. You can see the injector piping here. BTW you can see my blow down coming out the side with a hose connector on it. I use the blowdown as the fill valve when the engine is cold. For the b...

Actually it is basic math but maybe it would be much less work than scaling hundreds of parts if there are a set of drawings already done.

Here is my tank built using a 12" pvc pipe. For the ends I turned some 1/2" flat sheet with a slight taper to the edges. A little PVC cement and drive it in to flush with the pipe ends.
