Re: Another "What is it?"
Will have to figure out how to load pics again. Nothing little about this thing, though. 8-1/2" drivers with almost a 42" wheelbase. And frames 3/4" thick!

Another "What is it?"
Have just found another partial engine. This one has a full set of prints, but no company name, or even draftsman's name on it. The only things identifying it are that it has ""Jupiter" Central Pacific's NO.60 an American 4-4-0 Wood Burning Locomotive in 1-1/2" Scale and 7-1/4&qu...

Re: Does anyone recognize these 3D prints?
Nothing really to report. Got those prints back, need to change a few things and completely sort out the drive before I can go any further. Do have the majority of an S4 drawn up to go on top of them but so many projects and only so much time.

Re: Modified Vaguely Valve Gear
Excellent! Thank you. Just saw the typo in the title, must have been an auto-correct I didn't catch.

Re: Modified Vaguely Valve Gear
Did you see this already? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qup6A6BiE_g Perhaps one of them could help you some way... Thank you, in my quest I have seen that video as well as a couple others. However, that is Baguley's first, unmodified gear. There is a short description and some old photos here Fig...

Modified Vaguely Valve Gear
Looks like I'm on another wild goose chase. This time I'm trying to find any information on Baguley's modified valve gear of 1895. So far all I've found is some very rough descriptions. ANY help on this one would be appreciated. There are supposed to be diagrams in articles "The Bagnall Valve G...

Re: Looking for 4032
Harold, this is for a 2 stroke scooter. Finished diameter would be 45mm. The only other option we have right now it to knurl a piston and it will still be slightly too small.

Re: Looking for 4032
Thank you for the help so far. I've found eagle but don't use aluminum nearly enough to justify buying a whole bar and keeping it around. Similar issues with Amazon and it not being in stock. I guess the actual alloy isn't that important, but it's going to be a piston in a scooter that will see some...
