Dang! You're right, Mike. I have seen all four, just at different times and places. I'd tell you about my great memory, but I forgot where I put it.

Re: Little Engines ALCO video
Great video of four fantastic locomotives! I'm amazed at the quality of workmanship put forth by the builders. I look forward to seeing them in person one of these days!

Re: Modeltec magazine - full listing of issues
Thank you for the info, PRR5406. I had not heard about the COHS getting the magazine. I've had a number of inquiries about availability in the past - now I know what to reply.

Re: Jesse Livingston
Sad to hear of Unka Jesse's passing. I always enjoyed receiving his articles, email dialogs, and phone calls. His efforts were quite instrumental in perpetuating the live steam hobby. He will be missed by the hobby and the readers of LSOR.

Modeltec Magazines For Sale ****SOLD****
After buying three different batches of Modeltec magazines in the quest to complete my collection, I've finally succeeded. The following issues are the extras that need to find another home. I'm selling them for $1 each. All are complete, most are like new. Multiple issues are in parenthesis. 1984 M...

Re: Dip Painting
JP: If you're doing dip coat or flow-coating at work, you're probably aware of the control parameters for a decent job. When I was a service tech for powder applications, we also had a liquid dip line, and later, an e-coat line. As Shild mentions, quite a bit of paint is needed to cover the parts pl...

Re: Car stability paper
Bill Donovan (Real Trains) wrote a nice article on the stability of 7-1/2" riding cars that was published in the Nov-Dec 2012 issue of Live Steam & Outdoor Railroading. If you have the issue, check it out. Otherwise, it's still available as a back issue.

I agree with Bill. Two small holes will save a lot of tears later.
