Re: Servo 150 Power Feed Circuit Board Connectors and Schematic

I also found a ceramic disk capacitor broken That is likely the problem, as it was with my Haas mill. They're called varistors, and are intended to protect the machine against over voltage. A power surge killed one of the six in my Hass mill power supply resulting in the mill no longer being able t...

Re: Odd question

Please take this post as it's intended. "To close to tolerance" makes no sense and has nothing to do with the issue. Tolerance implies that amount that a dimension can vary from nominal. Fact is, tight tolerance guarantees fits , it does not compromise them. If every dimension on a locomot...

Re: fuel topic

well what i meant harold was like with bituminous if you get it stoked up just right with the right amount of scoops and you get that yellow sulphuric smoke out of the stack. welsh doesn't have the same impurities to give off that same yellow smoke as bituminous does. so for as much as welsh was gr...

Does anybody know where I can get parts for a central machinery t5980 I need the mill top cover. You would be far better off not posting your inquiry under the heading of another topic, where it most likely won't be seen by all too many people. I highly recommend you post again, starting your own t...

Maybe I'm missing something, but I''m having a hard time thinking that it's sulfur smell that you're missing. I grew up in a smelter town (Midvale, Utah) where sulfur dioxide was emitted by the ton ...

I understand!
If I can get it, I will. If not, will figure something else out or bite the bullet on shipping costs.
I'd likely take the same route. In my world I like things the way I want them.

I actually thought you were just going along with it; but you know how things run away on the board sometimes. Knowing of the potential consequences for not installing those snap rings, when I saw the picture my concentration turned towards trying to save a hard earned project from failure. I'm kno...
