3" scale cross-compound pump patterns

Dave ( Trainman4602) our pal, when he was up at Sandy Wittum's place working on the Robert Harper built Green 15" Hudson (12 years ago) said: "Eventually, I've got patterns for the 3" scale Cross-compounds, and were gonna put those on the front". Here is the quote at 1:34 from Da...

Re: steam channel

Re: H6 brake valves

Unless some genius has made it recently, the H6 does not work in 1/8 scale. If you want real automatic WABCO type brakes, I would pick a bigger scale, or plan to use straight air for a very long while. The smallest functional automatic air brakes I've ever seen/heard of (and I have seen them in piec...

Re: Online Program for Valve Gear Design

I didn't post the program, just that I had the programs, but back then they were posted in lots of locations. Charlie wanted me to hang onto them and keep them for you guys. I'll dig the disks out and copy the notes on them. If I don't post here soon, remind me.

Re: Online Program for Valve Gear Design

Charles J. Dockstader died sometime after 2008 I believe. He and I used to talk back them. He sent me a final copy of everything he had. I think I posted that on here back then.

Re: Blue prints SD

The problem is going to be in getting the truck frame drawings, everything else on a diesel is easy to model. I've got the Prior GM truck drawings, but I've never seen the later self steering design drawings, or heard of anyone having them. You'd probably have to kill someone to get them, but give i...

Re: Live Steam Clubs in Europe?

You pay the IRS because you are "citizens". Citizen was a Roman term that means state owned slave. You are a "citizen" by contract. No contract, no citizenship. The rich are not citizens, and they do not need permission, nor do they ask permission to travel and live where they wi...
