Re: Emco Maximat V10 Mill drawbar question
If I was you, Id sell the millhead to a Emco user and buy two mini-mills and a bunch of tooling...the mini-mill head is much more ridgid then the Emco unit ..and available in R8. I've seen the Emco 4speeds go to $800 on ebay!! Emco uses a small male/female adaptor at the collet end to adapt a standa...

Re: Emco V10P Lathe Collets
Hi Ben This is a difficult question..I have a V10p also ...no collets though. I do have sales literature that says the spindle draw in collets can be designated 3AT. or L20. There are 2 different spindle types for this machine, a 1 1/2x8 threaded, or a 4 stud type....I don't know if the collet angle...

I use a press, based on the design by" Bonnie Doon" engineering.......the "Deep draw press" I modified the design... to be a bender and press/press brake. I used a 20ton bottle jack, and constructed the frame from class III hitch tubing, and 1" plate. I have bent 1" bar...
