Re: Mosley Pyle Generator Eye Bolt Needed

I have both the toggle bolt and the thumb nut. They are made from the original Mosely tooling.
both the nut and bolt are threaded 00-90.
Either part is $5.00 a lot of money for something that small but they are a spot of bother to thread.

Re: Future of Superscale Locomotive

You are correct.
How many people are building steam locomotives in 1.5-1.6"scale?
Ask Jim Kreider how many people have started to build his Berkshire, the best detailed and documented engine ever made?
Jim, do not be overwhelmed by my endorsement.

Re: Beryllium copper

BC can be formed soft and heat treated for spring temper or hardness. Unlike most nonferrous metals + BC is a good electric conductor.
I do not think that BC is a hazardous as pure beryllium, not sure material data safety information

Re: brown and sharpe

Sorry, colored case hardening involves cyanide. Very difficult and expensive to use or dispose of. Starrett no longer uses that process. Does any manufacture use that process now? The purchase, use and disposal of many chemical now involves permits, licenses, insurance, and inspections. A nearby pla...

Re: Future of Superscale Locomotive

I have tried to communicate with Jen, no response. I have contacted Barrys brother who told me that the SuperScale business is in the hands of Jen and her lawyer It seems Barrys real estate property is either for sale or sold, not sure. If the real estate is sold before the SuperScale business is so...

Re: Brass rod half round 1/8" or German Silver Wire

I still have the wire. It is not a pure half round, the edges are slightly broken at what could be called the diameter.
I also have 3/16" half round and I could probably obtain other sizes as well.

Time! There are two thing I can not make. I can not make less then one part. And I can not make time. I had two relatives who thought they could make time and they did time (in Jail) an occupational hazard in the legal? profession. Presently I am spending about eighteen hours a day working in my sho...

Re: Ohlenkamp injector

I have all the internal parts and everything else for the Ohlenkamp injector except finished injectors for sale. When I started the injector project I made the cones first and tested them in an Ohlenkamp injector body. When the cones I made worked, then I went for the tooling to make the injector bo...

Re: Super Scale

I do not know what Barry's daughter is asking for the Superscale business. A realistic price would be about two years gross sales. If Barry's daughter will not sell the business for a realistic price, she will discover that other people will find ways to produce what Barry did and the Superscale nam...
