Re: Tapping carbon fiber tubing
Tap make? Tap Type? Are you tapping the bore of Carbon Fibre tube? If so why, and have you considered the impact of that on it's structural integrity? HSS plug tap I made a couple of carbon fiber shrouds for my pcp air rifles . It's a modified Kral NP-03 in .177 , shoots a 9.57gr pellet at 910fps ....

Re: gunsmithing tools
Brownells and Midwayusa would be a good source of current values of smithing tools . I sold items for half price of new cost . If you run int...

Re: Engraving need , laser or rotorary or etc.
Nyle ,
All the trailers I've owned have had the VIN on a plate attached to the trailer .
I guess it's done like that for the same reason auto makers do it .
Besides if someone is intent on stealing a trailer , I highly doubt the vin application matters to them ....

Engraving need , laser or rotorary or etc.
I'm getting all my trailers squared away , I need plates engraved with the vin number . Laser engraving , rotorary tool or even stamped .
I had checked with the local trophy shop ,but they don't do engraving - so hopefully one of our members can help me out .
Thanks ,

Re: Compressor woes

It lasted for years , I was sanding down a boat hull when I lost air . A trip down to the cellar I found the...

Re: Help in making a tiny bushing
Oppsss , Sorry Magicniner , though you were Ramv . Most mounts use a gearbox between the servo motor and spur gear . If the coupler is rigid it can cause the tracking to jump . Not as important if the scope is for visual or video astronomy . But awful for long exposures , compound possible by the fo...
