Good looking engine and congrats on making it available again. Questions: would you cast the drivers out of ductile iron? Better for off road excursions... Second: any time frame on drawings?

Agree there are not enough people in the hobby. Makes designers who have produced incredible designs such as Don Young, Jim Krieder, Kozo Hiroaka all the more remarkable, just to name a few.

Gerry Penrose's drawings were published in Live Steam mag in the mid 1970's. Unfortunately, he did copy Martin Evan's design, dropping one driver, including Martin's mistakes. Martin Evan's had a habit of doing an approximation of the prototype- if you are using NYC drawings you may be better off do...
