Tom Artzberger did sell these in the past. I have a set he designed and made casting for. Worth asking him if he’ll make more.

Re: GNR 5101 Class Locomotive drawings

Perhaps you mean GWR? Great Western Railway, not GNR. 5100’s were the large tank 2-6-2’s. Trevor Shortland drew a particularly nice design. Reeves still sells castings. Station Road Steam has a part built 1” scale for sale.

Good looking engine and congrats on making it available again. Questions: would you cast the drivers out of ductile iron? Better for off road excursions... Second: any time frame on drawings?

Good work!

Re: Drawing advice

Agree there are not enough people in the hobby. Makes designers who have produced incredible designs such as Don Young, Jim Krieder, Kozo Hiroaka all the more remarkable, just to name a few.

Re: Drawing advice

Gerry Penrose's drawings were published in Live Steam mag in the mid 1970's. Unfortunately, he did copy Martin Evan's design, dropping one driver, including Martin's mistakes. Martin Evan's had a habit of doing an approximation of the prototype- if you are using NYC drawings you may be better off do...

Re: LE 1” Scale Drivers
