Steve: If you use the FULL EDITOR & PREVIEW you can ATTACH most anything. Thanks for sharing this... I am a few months past dealing with something similar regarding a Southern Valve gear. I ended up just locking the main drive axle in a fixed vertical position...as did the fellow who built the model...

put a lifting fork under each wheel that is a 'teeter totter' so that you push DOWN to lift the wheel. arrange this so that the pivot is a fixed distance from the where the fork lifts the wheel....and you have a fixed position to: add weight to the 'push down' end of the teeter totter until the whee...

perhaps better than going to the rear (from an engineer's standpoint)….

This has migrated to what it is...perhaps to support the concept of 'you can never have too many ways to put water in a boiler'.....

I would do it in a Swiss type (or Turn-Mill machine), but then that is how I think.

nah....never put that many flues in ANY boiler I have built

it's interesting to LOOK at that picture and imagine exactly HOW all that spaghetti ended up in that configuration
