Re: building the galloping goose #2

Regarding the drawing in the Silver San Juan, this is only an generic drawing, since none of the Geese are the same. They have the same apperance, but different length and the other dimensions are also not the same. Remember, that they where build from scrap-material and the shopcrew used, what mate...

Not as much as before, but as example the custom-office for my office address is around 10 miles away ...

Re: Customs costs at the border

Hello Bill, since I travelled a couple of times with modelrailroad-equipment outside the EU, I have some experience. Their are two ways to handle this: 1. You can go to the local IHK (chamber of commerce) and request a Carnet ATA (Carnet Admission Temporaire/Temporary Admission). This is like a pass...

Although I'm not sure yet, if I will come over, I will send in my registration at the end of this month.

Re: Fake steamer?

Their is also a Bumble Bee C19 in 2.5" scale electric powered.
Nice model, operated once at a Triennial and had a boiler-check-tag, which read "Electric, no steam "

Also, Russ Wood is/was a dealer for an electric version of a 1.5" steam-engine.

Re: Home Railway Journal

I don't like the digital version either and would like to get a paper version. I subscribed a long time for the 7+ Narrow Gauger, later 7+ Railroader, but let my subscription slip, because they swithched to digital. I prefer to sit in my living room in the evening in front of the TV and read the mag...

Re: Restoring a MEG steam 'Wendy'

Hi Mike,

looks really nice, also I prefer the rectangular water-tank as it had before.

Can't wait to see it at TM later this month.

Re: Rail stops for sidings

Sorry for that.

I just opened the photo again without any problems. I found it in a german forum, and the photo is hosted by ImageShack.US .

To show you the train, I looked for a photo from a different source and replaced the link.
I also checked this photo before posting, and have no problems.
