A Material Question

Hello Everyone, Need a bit of help here....................have searched the "net" in vain to find an outfit that offers 1/2" round bar, bronze filled Teflon (PTFE). Per chance, does anyone know of a place selling the bar in less than pallet loads?? Thank you for any help. Respectfully, Dave Griner

Yes Pete, the tube is encased in the body with provisions for teflon disks(washers) at both ends of the tube. The top piece for the steam is threaded and screws into the top of the body, thereby compressing the tube between the two gaskets.

Here is a picture of the "reflex" glass I made using tubular glass, as can be noted, there is a small slit in the back of the body allowing light from a grain of wheat bulb. Very happy that I did that, the glass is quite easy to read in use.

It might be added that the crown bars are quite small and not providing proper support, hence the sag in the crown sheet.
