Re: So You Want To Cut Some Metal?

There are a number of recently released sliding miter saws for metal. If you could slow down a radial arm saw, that would be the ticket. An industrial 3 phase version with a VFD would work great.

So You Want To Cut Some Metal?

Here is a quick video on a new way to cut metal in your shop. There are many ways a fabricator can now cut steel efficiently. Bandsaws, Plasma Cutters, Oxy/Acetylene, Angle Grinder with a Cut-Off Wheel..... even a Hack Saw will do! But there is something relatively new and VERY inexpensive to use in...

Re: You Might Want To Add Welding To Your Shop

Sure my Milled 185 MIG or my Primeweld 225 TIG are better machines, but for welding a bunch of 1/8” and 3/16” tubing and angl...

Repair Grizzley Mill

I have an older Grizzley Mill #G9959 which has been replaced by the G0729. I've had it for well over 20 years with zero issues. It's a small mill and easy to move around a home shop if needed. Taking light cuts it will do anything you ask of it, but much slower than a bigger Bridgeport type mill. A ...

Re: Grounding Dust Collector???

Thanks John, that is exactly what I thought. Wrapping the pipe just wastes good copper wire! Merry Christmas!
