Station, Road, Steam Stafford locomotive

Has anyone seen one of the StstionRoadSteam 0-4-0 Stafford locomotives running?
Everything I have seen on the web makes it look like a great starter locomotive if someone wants a bolt together kit but I was curious if anyone has actually seen one run?
Thanks

Re: Cal Tinkham

I had the pleasure of meeting Cal at the Nevada State Railroad Museum and to see his fantastic engines. He was a great craftsman and a really nice guy.

Speaking of kits, does anyone actually make a machined kit anymore?

Live Steam Magazine June 1967

Does anyone have a copy of Live Steam, June 1967, that they might be willing to sell? Second choice would be a scan.
Thanks

Sir,
I assume this engine already sold but I thought I would ask. I am back in the market for a 4-4-0

Re: Disney American

There was a general discussion and some parts were produced but no complete sets as far as I know. The gentleman who had the patterns has passed away and his family is not comfortable using them for more parts. Since there is now a Disney Museum and they are archiving all the artifacts, I believe th...

Re: Disney American

Thought l would chime in. I am president of the Carolwood foundation and one of the crew chiefs at the Disney barn in Los Angeles. The Carolwood Society, www.carolwood.com, may still, have drawings. We are related organizations but not the same. They used to sell a set of drawings. Castings have not ...

Looking for a twin cylinder steam engine

I am looking for a two cylinder vertical steam engine similar to a Stuart Swan. Something with a 2 inch bore or close to it. I need it ready to run or someone who will machine it for me. Been checking as many web sites as I can. If anyone knows of something like this for sale or a builder who would ...
