Hi Pat , were fine here. Work keeps me busy. Don and I were planning on an appearance on Sat. Will have some stuff for the swap table. Hope to see you there. I think Chuck A. May have owned that one inch 4-4-0 for a short time

Re: Looking for Information Bill Van Brocklin engines in Hawaii

Hi Pat, There was a 1" 4-4-0 chassis built. Never a finished loco. I remember seeing it but don't remember where it went.

Re: 3/4 Yankee Shop Atlantic - in Pieces

Bill, was the boiler advertised as silos soldered? And do you know the origins of the Atlantic? As long as it isn't leaking ,.. what's the problem?

There was a Green Godess built for 71/2" gauge on the west coast. It was ,I believe a half sized version of the R,H&D loco.

Re: 3/4 Yankee Shop Atlantic - in Pieces

This guy went to alot of trouble to RIP this loco apart and clean everything. It's not the first one he's DC one this to,and he seems to find well made subjects for his Frankenstein approach to live steam. A part from here ,a part from there and presto ...live steam locomotive. I sent a message to h...

Re: 85th Anniversary Meet at Montreal - Reminder

Hildreth's wreck train is loaded, along with A V&B 0-4-0 #2, buggy and hopper, Sir Don has Wee Angus, buggy and one if the Kirkwall Central shops box cars. A beauty no doubt! This stuff keeps getting heavier every year!
