Yes, 2 1/2" AND 925 RPM. I tried reducing surface speed from 325 to 230 then to 160 to no avail. In fact the chatter got worse. I was feeding manually, I didn't have the guts to try a faster feed rate or power feed at a faster feed rate. I don't know if my Grizzly 14x40, (0554) is stout enough for t...

I started reading this thread from the beginning and although I never experienced any of the problems I found it very interesting. :) Well, guess what, it happens that I needed to make a set of dies to bend some 1" tubing on my metal bender.
