I think it is the Railroad Warehouse light Mikado, the 90 pound?? I'm not really sure. See the attached. Is RR Warehouse no longer active? I remember years ago some problems wit RR Supply. I'm not sure which company supplied these castings. It is a 90 ton locomotive. Marty, is there any chance that...

Mikado logging engine drawings
I sold a friends engine for his widow. There are no drawings to be found.
Would anyone know of a set of drawing that can be bought? This would be a great help to the new owner.
Thanks,
Fred V

Re: Tapping Pipe Fittings
You don't have to buy the whole set, just get the 2 sizes you need now and add to it later.

Re: Tapping Pipe Fittings
Model engineer taps are not tapered so as Bill says use a sealer and hope for the best. Those type taps are available here too just google your tap size and order. I've gotten them from Amazon. search also for model taper pipe sizes.

Re: Identify engine
I thought Friends were 3/4" scale. This is 1.5" scale. I just have the chassis here. I'll see if I can get more photos of it.

Identify engine
A guy at our track bought this 2-4-4 dummy electric steam engine. It came from Canada and I'm re-gauging it for him. I'd like to know what it is if anyone can identify it. It had nice detail castings but tin can cylinders and fake valve gear.

Re: Free 2D CAD Software?
I have been using Linux since I retired, so I am always on the look out for functioning open source software. I recently discovered QCAD. It is free and works very similar to my recollections of Autocad for DOS circa 1990. Their website https://qcad.org/en/ says it will work with Mac and Windows as...
