Re: LED Shop Lighting

Bill with the amount of lights you need you should consider buying direct from the manufacturers in China rather than pay the markup the importers charge. The only problem is Chinese New Year starts about the 9th and goes to the 25th of this month, longer for some companies. I bought from these guys...

Re: pulley size, variable speed

Re: LED Shop Lighting

If you already have fluorescent lights getting LED conversion bulbs makes a lot of sense. If building new then LED fixtures are the way to go. I needed 22 for my garage and woodworking shop and bought direct from China as most are made there anyway. Saved at least half over buying locally. I would d...

Re: TG 100 collets

I don't know if these guys have better prices on the TG 100 collets but they are an alternative source of tools here in the Great White North.

Re: bench grinder woes

What kind of wheel/stone did you buy. If you bought a soft one made for grinding tool steel and HSS and had at it with soft angle iron it will go out of round quickly. There should be a code of letters and numbers on the paper blotters or the box it came in. What is the code?

Re: Almost Skunked on a Grizzly Hunt.

Did you try any other of the tooling suppliers in the area before making the trek to the USA? KMS has a few bits and cutters, ACT Equipment Sales, Sharp-Rite Tooling & Manufacturing, there are others that don't come to mind at the moment. Also Sharp-Rite also has a cutter grinding division in case y...
