Re: TM 2021 Prep

I would think anybody that mandates a loading method would be assuming liability both personally and for the organization should something go wrong.

I am interested in a gauge in the 250# range if you decide to make them.

Re: Restored 2-4-4-2

Hey Russ, I agree that a 2-4-4-2 would be great in 1/8 scale. I was thinking the running gear 2 Allen Chloe could be used for a freelanced "kit bash".

Boiler Water Gauge Installation

I am installing an American Model Engineering Supply water gauge on the boiler of a very small 1.5" scale 0-4-0. The bottom of the gauge assembly has a threaded valve assembly at a right angle to the gauge glass. My question is this....can the gauge assembly be threaded directly into the boiler back...

Re: Boiler treatment

Does anybody know what the railroads used to control/treat dissolved oxygen in the make up water on full size locomotives back in the days of steam?

Highiron, do you have any picture showing how you install and insulate the gage from heat? Timmy

Interested in the 1/2" scale kit. The more prototypical/super detailed the better....

Re: Welshpool & Llanfair open wagons

ADK - Have you produced the spoked wagon wheels? Are they available? Did you produce the also produce the pedestals? I'm considering building some 2 axle cars and I really like your designs. Timmy
