plans for an REA baggage wagon
I am looking for plans to build a couple of 1 1/2" scale REA baggage wagons like I used to see at the Sante Fe depot and Southern pacific depot in Fresno Ca back in the 30s and 40s and 50s. Does anyone have a lead i might follow PaulJ

Thank you, the photos will help considerably even tho it is an older version of the steel wheel units, I can scale from the photos I think and get the dim's that I need\

Baggage Cart Drawings
Does anyone know where I might find a set of drawings for a REA baggage cart, looking for the 1920's with steel wheels. I have been looking for one to measure And photograph with out success. Want to make a couple in 1/8 scale. Thanks for any info

I used a windshield wiper motor and used a cam on the shaft and micro switch to cause it to park in the same position each time (pendulum down) Works ok.

Yes I know of those wig wag sites. I originally thought of using electromagnetic's as well as the disc and pin which I used on a windmill that I built several years ago to pump water. Has anyone on this forum built a model Wig Wag crossing signal? I am contemplating building a wig wag signal about 6' tall, possible using a windshield wiper motor that has parking so that the pendulum will return to a vertical position when at rest. Any info would be of benifit.

I recently acquired castings for a Paul Breisch steam hammer. The plans that i have do not indicate the seal material for the piston rod. the seal is compressed between 2 bronze pieces 1 5/16 dia and 1 1/4 inches apart, the piston rod is 3/4" with a flat, on one side. Has anyone built this hamm...

I presume this is a fairly new shotgun. Browning hand fits fits the locking bolt very tight to the barrel lug. On a new superposed the top lever normally does not return to a central position when the action is closed, it will eventually center as the locking bolt wears into position and the lever b...
